Market Cross

Living and working on the east side of Shetland meant that I missed the worst of the weather although some of the heavy showers were impressive.

This was taken around 8.30 (half an hour before sunrise) this morning from Mounthooly Street looking down to the Market Cross and onwards to the cruise liner which hasn't moved despite the rumour from a couple of weeks ago. Apparently under Mounthooly Street there is an old stream that was covered up when the buildings started to be built upwards from the shore.
