One of the best things about the light at this time of year is the way for fifteen minutes a day the sun shines right through the house and illuminates the Christmas tree.

Piper the Elf and Luna the Fairy got in on the act today as we recorded a Happy Birthday Song and a Happy Birthday Greeting for my mum (a day late - not even bribery worked yesterday) and it made me smile to see them lit up like this!
