A Wet Day

Not a good blipping day today - I don't think it got light at any point. It was either rain or hailstones, along with a very cold wind.
Polly dog scowled at me when we went out for a walk, so we didn't go far. Just down into Hardcastle Crags then a quick scoot back home.
This is Hollin Hall - it used to be a farm house and is now offices for the National Trust. The 'Hall' part of the name is something of an affectation - it was originally Hollin Hole but over many years the 'Hole' became 'Hall' - and thus it remains.
