River Spey
Wet snow overnight and brushable has turned to quite heavy snow showers on and off all day and lying. However, it is winter and not windy or even very cold and when I hear what other poor folk are suffering in the west, huge sea swell, power cuts, gales, I realise how lucky we are.
A walk to the river this morning saw some sun and blue sky. The woods were full of birds but also drips and every time there was a blob on the lens at a crucial moment. Back home, a shot through the window to photograph eight longtailed tits on the feeder was streaked with falling slowflakes. Opening the door, resulted in them all disappearing. They returned again, only to disappear when the snow stopped!
