Finally Finished

This is the Christmas gift that I've thoroughly enjoyed making for my Mum (hoping she's not going to see this) - it's taken a lot longer than I thought, but I've done it in stages when I've had spare time.

It was a struggle to find a frame that was going to be the perfect fit, but I eventually did after weeks of searching, but it had to first be painted and decoupaged before I could add the backing, birdcage and decorations. I even found the perfect sized box that it can go in to be wrapped up. Fingers crossed she likes it.

It's a new craft I'm enjoying called 'Folded Book Art' and it's taking books out of 'landfill' and giving them a second life, the designs are endless.
