Horrible weather.

As I set off over Harden Spring this morning for a bit of shopping, my temperature gage pinged to indicate it was 4 degrees C and there was sleet in the squally shower I was driving through.

There have been brief interludes of sun as you can see in this shot of light filtering through the red and cream bracts on the Poinsettia I bought yesterday. ( I didn't find any I liked elsewhere so paid a bit more for one of these from the local garden centre pictured last week here.)

Going to my second festive meal tonight but I'm not looking forward to going out again in this weather. I hope everyone in the UK and especially in the NW of Scotland are safe and warm in this first of the winter's storms. Take care.
