It's CHRISTMAS!

It's officially Christmas! The decorations went up last night and we're now easing ourselves into the festivities with a series of Christmas songs, carol concerts, school plays, parties and too many chocolates...

We've made more of our own decorations this year, with Beth cleverly combining home-dried orange slices with cinnamon bark to make these fantastic tree ornaments - and as we didn't have room for another Christmas tree at the bottom of the stairs she found some interesting branches to hang them from instead. All-in-all, it's looking very cheerful and cosy in here, which is just as well as we've been battered by gale-force winds for the past eighteen hours and it shows no sign of letting up anytime soon!
