Survival

Following on from yesterday's blip, I came home from work and went over to the nest that the two eggs were in. There were no longer any eggs, but one poor wee chick. Not sure what happened to the second chick. We've had very wet weather overnight and during the day, so perhaps it didn't survive.

This wee one looks dead, but I can assure you it is alive. It moved when I touched it, and it's parents were flying around squawking at me. Hopefully it will survive the wet weather warning we have at the moment.
