This beautiful home, the neighbor to the Condo Hotel where we're staying, has been turned into offices for a small group of attornies. For all the down and dirty quirkiness of the French Quarter, this area has a more genteel southern style. C and I hit a casino this afternoon (where I very quickly went through my small gambling allowance at the blackjack tables), then went back about the business of exploring. Love New Orleans ... and the adventure continues.
