December Challenge: Day 7 ......

Light: Fire or flame.

Around Christmas time there are always a lot of miniature (and elaborate) model train displays in our area. After lunch this afternoon we headed over to one such display.

With the December challenge topic of fire/flame I wasn't sure if there would be anything at this display that would hit the topic. So I was pleasantly surprised to see this Firehouse among the many buildings lining the train tracks. I tried to get one of the steam trains going in front of it, but that didn't work out.

What's cool about this firehouse is the fact that the fireman inside will slide down the pole and the fire truck comes out of the station when you press a button. If you look in the lower right window you can see the fireman at the bottom of the pole.
