My #1 favourite spa in the Southern Hemisphere. An awesome blend of hot spring waterfall and cool river plunge pool. Sweet as. Taupo was a relaxed and interesting town at the side of the impressively largeLake Taupo. Despite its volcanic history, it didn't have the sulphur smell that we would enjoy in Roturoa that evening.
