Agogo.........

Today had the privilege of meeting a wonderful old lady who had been a friend of the first life President of Malawi! She could not see - it seemed she had bad cataracts in her eyes and even when I put the camera right up to her face she could not see her picture. She was sitting outside one of our ECD centres on a mat and when she heard us singing with the children she was clapping her hands and then she got up and we danced together to the song! A special moment!

I was out at some of our ECD centres delivering buckets with taps that we use for handwashing in centres where there is no water nearby. Caregivers go to the nearest borehole, well or river and collect water for use by the children. It was part of a small donation that we received and it will allow about 100 centres to have hand washing facilities.......as they say here, water is life!!
