Cold, wet, miserable!

Just got soaked through to my skin on my afternoon walk. ……………And now Ann is grumpy with me??!!

She says I smell, she says that she wishes she had a dog that didn’t like water and who didn’t like wallowing in mud, she says she wishes she had a dog that didn’t leave loads of hairs all over the house, she says she wishes I wouldn’t constantly follow her everywhere is it really necessary for me to follow her to the toilet??, she says little dogs that have had lovely walks in the rain should just go and lie in their bed when they get home. She says if I’d eaten my breakfast this morning I wouldn’t be asking for early dinner now.

……………And now she’s just shouted at me because she thought I was about to jump onto the sofa for a little snooze. Sometimes Ann knows what I’m thinking before I’ve even thought of it myself!!!!!

Personally I think Ann is grumpy with me because she’s in a bad mood!!! She went to the opticians this morning, who tried to make her buy two pairs of glasses, which would have cost well over £300 (not including the lens & all the other c*** they try and make you buy). She will have a look on 'Glasses Direct' tonight. And then before my walk this afternoon we went to the new 'Hayle Harbour Asda' because they had Prosecco on special offer if you bought six bottles. So she bought six bottles and they charged her the full price because they said the offer had ended. Unfortunately for Asda, they hadn’t been efficient enough to remove their special offer prices from the shelves and had only changed the price on the tills. So they did actually give us a refund. But this involved a lot of faffing about that she could have done without. And it also meant I had to sit in the car and wait for ages.

………….And now it’s Tuesday night in December and there’s absolutely nothing happening and there doesn’t seem to be much on TV tonight either.

Ann’s feeling bored and I’ve gone into ‘good dog mode’ and am snoozing quietly in my bed.
