View at dusk from outside our apartment

Still no Indian visa this morning so we head off to the Pokhara immigration office to renew our Nepali visas. We've just renewed for 15 days as we want to be elsewhere by that time, be it India or somewhere else. We can just get another 15 day one at the airport if we go elsewhere and have to come back to Nepal.

Its 30 days since the initial Indian visa application tomorrow so we're hoping something will happen after that time ... if not by the end of the week we'll think again.

So, we're still in limbo and, much as we like Pokhara, we hadn't planned on spending a month of our travels here. We start to look at flights elsewhere and its going to be more expensive than we initially thought to go to Thailand or somewhere else in SE Asia so everything crossed we won't need to do that.

Its a beautifully clear sunny day today and we spend the afternoon at lakeside in the sun and then head back to the apartment just before dark and this is the view of the Himalayas at the end of our street - taken from just outside our apartment block. Its usually clouded over by this time of day so its unusual to see the mountains at dusk.

On our way back we find yet another yoga class which we think we'll try tomorrow morning. Its about 30 mins walk away but we think we may take a slow jog there. The class starts at 7.30am and is between one and a half and two hours long and sounds good. We met the teacher when we went to make enquiries - singing bowl relaxation, breathing and a mixture of hatha and ashtanga. With our recent record of yoga classes, lets hope he turns up tomorrow and is feeling up to it!
