Waitomo

The glow worms on the ceiling of the earlier cave looked like the Milky Way on a clear night. Upside down obviously, as we are in the Southern Hemisphere, but recognisable - honest. Photos weren't allowed there but luckily we also visited some of the hundreds of kilometres of caves where cameras were allowed. Later we headed to the Tangoriro Crossing but carelessness from driver (and navigator) took us a could of hundred kilometres out of our way. We hadn't realised that New Zealand was so big...
