Greek bakery bread can be very tasty, but it can also be the luck of the draw - you need to find a good bakery you can rely on to get good bakery bread these days; i am not always satisfied with Greek bakery bread

LIDL now has an in-house bakery: their Greek bread products are not so good in my opinion, but they do win in another way - they make fantastic northern European-style bread

we now buy LIDL bread for our breakfasts - we get through 2 loaves of multi-grain a week, and it isnt cheap - it costs 1.99 per loaf; but today i noticed that they had a special on another kind of bread - the round loaf cost 69 cents (down from 1.49), so i bought two: that will be our lunch bread

and i couldnt resist the orange sticker mince - all in all, i paid 4.76 today
