It may be connected with working less but for the first year ever I have written 99% of my cards well before the deadline!

I've found the bit that takes the time is writing the envelopes. Being very very sad I've had a spreadsheet of addresses for the last ten years or so that I try and update when people move, and that's sped things up a lot, plus you can mark easily when you've done the card! One year three people sent me two cards, one before and one after they got mine when they panicked I suspect that I'd been left off.

It still takes a few hours, but far fewer than I thought it would
