"LT"

This picture was taken at the 150th Wilderness reenactment. It is a picture of Scott Debo, who was also in one of my previous pictures. Since I see Cooper’s as a second family to me, Scott is like an uncle. He is absolutely hilarious, but also serious when the time comes. When I started reenacting, Scott helped me get the things I needed, and showed me the ropes of the artillery. When I joined, he was a first sergeant, but since was promoted to Lieutenant. Most of our unit has nicknames because of dumb things we did or something that happened to us. Scott has been with the battery for most of the 20 years of its existence, and is known by many things. The most common is “Yoder” from when they were at an event when some Amish men went up to them, assuming that they were also Amish. However, I call him “LT” because of his rank as a Lieutenant. Anyway, this picture was taken before the battle when we were lying down by the guns to get some rest. I was taking pictures of the gun line when he asked me is he could see my camera. I handed it to him and this is one of the pictures that he decided to take.
