Our beautiful mountains from Mt Hutt.

This morning a group of us went up to Mt Hutt. For 5 mths of the year it is an international Ski field. The top carpark is about 5200' at the end of a 13km road up the mountain. We went up chasing Alpine flowers- some brave souls headed up the scree slopes. There was a real howler of a wind, I gave up when confronted with horizontal grit in my face. Really worried about the camera gear. So I enjoyed taking landscapes with beautiful norwest clouds.
