The meeting with the care home went better than expected; they don't want him in the nursing unit for too long as it's really affecting Dad. He cries quite a lot and gets concerned when the other residents do strange things (one likes to sit on the floor) and he's not sleeping as he has a noisy neighbour that groans and shouts a lot of the time. It's a glimpse of what could be Dad's future and I really hope he doesn't get to that stage too quickly. I found Dad in the lounge with the other residents and he was not his normal self. It was awful leaving him there and I really hope they can move him back to his old room soon.

And now I can't get him off my mind, so I'm going to pop in again tomorrow.
