Construction

I may not have any Christmas spirit yet but got home yesterday to a) the Christmas wreath in place on the front door (with the addition of lights this year - well, the green ones were working, the others had given up) and b) this marvellous construction.

Maybe next year I'll have the spirit and time to make an effort.
Back to work tomorrow after a quiet day today. Only about 1.5 hours of dissertation related activity but that is better than nothing.

I was surprised at the strength of my relief at the decision by the vet this morning that no surgery necessary for Megmog today after all. Mostly about her but also a little about my bank balance.
