Do you ever...

...get the feeling that you're being watched?

These two beady eyes belong to Brodie and she was surreptitiously on the lookout for signs that I was taking them O U T (sorry, we have to spell it, otherwise they get too excited!) In fact we have to spell lots of words when we are around them. It's worse than having children.

My passport ran out in 2008 and to be honest, I wasn't going to bother renewing it, for various reasons. Last week I got the sudden urge to do something a bit zany, so I sent off for a renewal and believe it or not, the replacement arrived this morning. Incredible! No excuses now.

I spent most of my day in the kitchen today. Firstly shifting the debris that had accumulated whilst the boys were here and then when the decks were finally clear, I did some cooking. I also made a jar of ginger and honey, which I have to say is delicious! I've been told that it's also good with a wee dram. (Thanks Soozy :-))
