Festive Fun

Technically we're on holiday from work this week but I popped in today to do a course. Somehow it didn't seem too much like work as it was a welcome break from the usual routine.

Tonight was the village Christmas shopping event and the Christmas tree festival was open for viewing in the church in the market square where the school choir was in full voice followed by the local brass band. Mulled wine, mince pies and stollen was in plentiful supply and it was a really atmospheric, festive event. Photography was challenging due to the low light levels but I hope this shows a little of the atmosphere of the evening.
