Well, what a day

Not one I was looking forward to, but how wrong could I be...

Wife had Outpatient appointment at hospital this morning @ 10 am. Arrived 9:45 (plenty of spaces in the car park), then just a 100 yard walk to O/P reception - 5minutes to book in. Get seated and name called within 5 minutes, consultation and back in the car by 10:20 am. Couldn't be happier with this bit of the NHS - brilliant.

You will realise where we went next because of todays blip - yes IKEA. Wife had promised lunch if we could call in for a few bits after the hospital. Well, I didn't get lunch because they were still serving breakfast. Went for the biggest (greedy me) 9 items (£2:25) including a free coffee. Another brilliant surprise. Perhaps I should purchase a lottery ticket whilst I'm on a roll!
