Lucky me

I got a small package in the post today. When I opened it, I found a pair of beautifully knitted mittens. It's my sister who knitted them and sent them to me as a gift. Well mittens is not the exactly right word, as there are openings at the end of the fingers, but I don't know the English word. She thought I could use them when taking photographs, as I have to have the fingertips free, in order to manage the control buttons on the camera. I'm excited to try them on, but today it was -8°C so it was way to cold.

And talking about gifts, the bowl holding my freshly made Christmas decoration is a birthday present from my friend Sunna and her husband :)
