A bit happier all round

W doing a lot better now. In the neonatal ward, no one sleeps, it is a 24 hr ward with no shutdown with alarms going off all night and obs and drugs and feeds occurring at regular intervals. I still feel like I can't switch off and need to keep checking he's breathing. He's gone from breathing so hard I could hear it from outside the room so him being so much better I have to keep checking him.

It's a Saturday today and without school runs the kids were able to come and spend a more relaxed chunk of their day with us. They made W little signs for his cot and played with some of the hospitals toys. It was actually just what we needed.
