"Young," Carefree and Happy!

This is my favourite but not my best image from today - 4 very happy retired ladies!!!! Their high spirits and enjoyment in each others company exemplified the event!
It was the ex- school staff Christmas meal - the first one I have been to. They meet once a month, however many of them can make it. Today over 40 did! It was held in a hotel on the moors and was glorious from beginning to end! I had so many hugs and surprised looks - some had not realised I had left, some that I was coming! I am proud to say I was the youngest one there!!!
Everyone was happy - and for those that I knew, they looked so young and carefree! Quite a difference from when they worked at the school! A few I had not seen since they left over 7 years ago - I swear they have the elixir of youth! ( i.e. not working!)
The food was excellent - and I hope I do not suffer from eating every last morsel of it!
