Christmas-box cat

You wouldn't catch him napping in a handbasin, trug or dresser- drawer! Oh no, He's a Bombay and prefers the wide-open spaces, or the hotspots under the duvet. Which is why I've given him a large Amazon box to house his new electric pet-blanket. He didn't quite get it at first, but now the temperature has plumetted, he can suddenly see the attraction.By bedtime he'll be back with us, I bet, but for now it's saving my knees and keyboard, and presumably warming his ancient joints.

My first Monday in the nursery today, from 8.20 am. Afterwards, teaching at the rehab as usual. I've only done two extra hours, and it's almost eight pm now. I'm ready for bed!

In other news, we've booked the chimney sweep for Thursday. CleanSteve will probably blip the dirty man.
