Santa's Helpers

By chance we happened to come across Santa's helpers at Crathes Castle today. This was just by chance and rather unexpected, though we guessed something was going on when we saw the number of cars as we were on our way to the car park. By good fortune we were able to park close to the castle.

At this point we rather expected that Santa might be around, and his grotto was easily identified by the long queue where the wood turner exhibition usually takes place. Around the back we found Santa's helpers having a rest having brought Santa all the way from the North Pole. At least they reindeer will have been happy about the weather which did feel rather polar, though without the snow.
