sun and snow

When I woke having had 7 hours continuous sleep I thought it was going to be a great day. Wrong. Three things conspired against me this morning. First a website that dumped me at the payment stage, then our printer and finally a hosepipe .... yes, I was car washing in chilly degrees C. No more about them though.

A 3½ mile circuit via Rydal after lunch took in this view towards Fairfield. There was more snow on the fells during the night but we've enjoyed a lot of sunshine today.
