Is this the first

butterfly of the year?
I was out for lunch when I spotted a butterfly on the pavement with it`s wings folded. Not knowing if it was alive or not, I picked it up and it started to move. I moved into the sunlight and held it in the palm of my hand, it`s wings opened and it stayed here soaking up the sun and gave me the opportunity of getting a quick couple of shots. After a few minutes or so it fluttered off and found a warm spot to bask in...It`s a Peacock butterfly and the first I`ve seen this year
