Build it and they will come...

Well I built my pond about 4/5 years ago and frogs and other creatures have been conspicuous by their absence.

I don't think you're supposed to do this but a friend who has a well established pond has had a frog population for years had offered a supply of frog spawn. She said that a local heron has been munching away on the spawn for a few days.

I picked up the jar tonight and immediately deposited it 'tapioca' in the pond.

Now I've just read up on the dos and donts of rearing frogs and I've done everyone wrong!

Oh well, we'll wait and see.
