Sausage Rolls

As well as visiting the Advent Fair yesterday, I managed to do quite a bit of cooking for Mum. We made a beef casserole and meatballs with tomato sauce; I also made some shortcrust pastry to use with the rest of the sausage meat for some sausage rolls. These went into the oven this morning and the results look suitably 'rustic' and home-made. My brother rang up last night and Mum reported that he was delighted to hear I was making these, as he'll be coming over on Tuesday - so I shall have to sneak one or two to take home with me if I'm going to find out what they taste like!
