'Kipling's Christmas'

A lovely day out at another National Trust..this time Bateman's...the home of Rudyard Kipling. This lovely 17th Century home has been decorated to depict a typical Edwardian Christmas.....

The sun came out for us after a rainy start..we had lunch in the Mulberry Tearooms..and then a walk around the grounds. Beautiful!

This evening on BBC1 Countryfile..they were looking at East Sussex...John Craven was at Bateman's.....they must have filmed it a couple of weeks ago as the leaves were still on the trees and the Roses.....the garden is being put to bed now for the Winter.
