So Maggie was picked up on Saturday and there was much sadness around the house.

We think she has gone to a good family who will lavish her with affection so that makes it easier....I still miss her though, Baxter is nowhere near as affectionate as she was.

Baxter seems ok although he has a tendency to sit on the back step of a evening now, perhaps waiting for her to return?

We plan on trying again next year with a border puppy, you get used to having more than one dog running around the place, it seems quiet without her.
