Stanton Pass, Yosemite National Park

Stanton Pass is one of the last obstacles along the remote and rugged Sierra High Route. As my climbing partner and I ascended the pass, swirling clouds obscured the route and each other, spitting rain. There was only a few moments pause in the storm, in which he heartily took in the view before the wicked descent into the valley below.
