Christmas Image

I have these brief moments at home during the basketball season, and I caught this one this morning. First, the tree: This is one we always used at our home at Sunriver, and after we sold that property, here's the tree. I'm ok with that really, because it's one less tree that's been chopped down for this three or four week holiday.

The second thought is how great it feels to be home. I've probably commented on that before. Well…

The third thought on this shot is Sadie at the side of the tree. We think she is suffering from a debilitating disease, possibly cancer. We're enjoying all of our time with her now. It may be her last Christmas with us, but we'll wait and see how strong she remains. Merry Christmas, Sadie.
