My tiny oak...

...is over 9 years old, believe it or not.
Oaks don't grow in Iceland, but this one doesn't know that and persists to grow into a flourishing "shrubbery" every summer before being slammed with the Icelandic winter. But it has strong roots, and every spring, it returns for another round of sun and growing.
