Trees At Night

Another cold day and some wintery showers of sleet and hail. There has also been thunder and lightening this evening followed by heavy hail showers.

Been working all day in the museum again and a fairly quiet day, possibly due to the weather. I did go for a walk in Lerwick at lunchtime and the town was fairly quiet too, even with live music playing at Harrison Square.
Poor Sammy got a huge fright this evening. I was out in the carpark at Gibblestone Court in Scalloway, when lightening struck. I was blinded by the intense brightness at first at then the thunder came and poor Sammy fled as fast as he could. He wasn't on his lead as we were only going to the car and luckily he was located quickly! Back home, time for me and Sammy to put our feet up for the evening!

I finished work earlier than expected last night and went out for a few pints with friends in Scalloway. After the pub, me and Sammy went for a walk around Scalloway and this trees caught my eye. They were nicely lit by the moonlight and street lights. I never actually noticed I was still on a mono setting but thought it worked well :) Taken at my friend Robert Duthie's garden at Ladysmith Road, Scalloway.
