Decorations
This morning I had a rare lie-in which was very welcome after a late night last night! Got a bit of housework done this morning - the place looks a bit less like it's been ransacked now!
We had a trip out to Whisby garden centre after. Garden centres are not places we'd normally go to since we don't actually have a proper garden!
I did get a good bargain though. I'd been for a while wanting some footwear that is warm, comfy and dry for general walking at this time of year. Everything I have either is uncomfy, makes my feet cold and wet or is too nice to wear in damp, muddy weather. So when I saw they had a good selection of practical boots for half price I had a browse and got a decent pair that tick the warm, dry, comfy boxes for £22.50!
The Garden Centre also has a stationery shop, a great selection of tank fish and currently, a huge selection of Christmas items on display. I didn't buy anything else, but got a few ideas for what I want to do with decorations this year. I will buy anything I need from somewhere cheaper though as £7 for one bauble is a bit much in my opinion!
My shot for today is part of a display of Victorian-style decorations.
We have brought our Christmas tree down, and on the advice of another cat owner, have stood it in its place with no decorations on. It can stay like that for a couple of days so Minstrel can get used to its presence before we trim it up!
Another thing I've done today is wrap up all the Xmas presents we have bought so far. I am so organised, lol!
