Tree day

We bought our Christmas tree today. It's not quite as big as these lovely fir trees at Westonbirt Arboretum, where we took the dog this morning, but it is proudly taking up most of our living room, covered in baubles.

Since having Nancy I have given up all hope of having a tasteful tree. The delicate glass baubles have gone to the top of the tree and the rest is covered in sparkly, colourful ones, many of which Nancy has made herself. There are Strictly-style mirror balls, robins and angels, and some chocolate Santas for good measure. It's brilliant!
