Syrup sponge

Made individual treacle sponges for pudding tonight. First attempt was a disaster as I cooked them too long (in the microwave) and burned the syrup, destroying two of my pudding basins. Second attempt, took 2 minutes off the cooking time and ended up with two tasty, if still a bit overcooked, treacle sponges. Rhona approved!

Rhona seems to be improving, still mentions of sore tum tum but usually when she wants something like up or an ice lolly!
