The Rainbow

Actually a double if you look carefully, the other one being hidden behind the tree. They split the sky which is something I've never seen before, half being brighter than the other.

This is the skyline above our local Christmas tree farm where we went today and bought not one but two trees, a biggish one and a not so biggish one. Scout is now very confused; the furniture has moved, and "outside"i.e green growing stuff that smells of damp is coming "inside", so he is running around squeaking to let us know that not all is well with his carefully ordered existence.

I was a little unhappy today at the thought of not having one of our children here for Christmas this year and shed a tear in the garden centre, so TSM took me by the arm and we went and bought some reindeer ear muffs. As you do.

We will decorate the trees tomorrow night when The Dizzle and Top Gun are both around and hopefully the Girl Racer can join us on Facetime.

I will wear the reindeer ear muffs to our work Christmas lunch on Wednesday.
