Chasing the sunset

There are those that chase storms and those that chase sunsets. The weather looked propitious so I drove around the fens trying to catch the right moment. I ended up with big red orbs and silhouetted building but in the end I preferred this one which I thought best catches the feeling of isolation in the landscape. I spent the rest of the day doing a bit of work and writing a long letter to a friend. The fountain pen and ink came out as they are an essential part of the ritual!
