A new life together
Today E and F were married in a charming church at the bottom of this path at 1530. My brother in law G played the organ and my elder sister A played the flute. My younger sister V directed from the gallery! I did one of the readings.
The congregation walked to the house for the reception, as the sunset and their hand-held candles lit the way.
The happy couple left the church through showers of petals fluttering from the free hands of the candle carrying congregation.
At midnight after a truly wonderful celebration the newly weds left the party through arcs of sparklers!
We welcome our new daughter-in-law F into our family with open arms!
It has been a truly memorable day from beginning to end, and made all the more special, as it falls on St Nicholas' Day - such an important day for all our Polish friends. Dzien Świętego Mikołaja!
