I Might Have . . . .
The choice was always there -- photograph the crowded German Market on Princes Street, chat to Paul singing alone away from the crowd at the very lowest depths of Princes Street Gardens 200 metres from the Market but whose voice could be picked out in the street above singing Runrig's 'Precious Years', a sad ballad.
The Market crowd was too swarming and dense and Paul, although fascinating, was just too solitary for my Blip so I fell back on an aspect to please myself; the bell tower of St Cuthbert's Church with the Castle in the background, for me a sober but pleasing composition- tomorrow perhaps something more festive !
