How many men....?

It would seem it takes a lot of men to put up and decorate the village Christmas tree.

I did ask one of the guys drinking coffee and he did say he was doing nothing but there seemed to be and awful lot of them getting 'hands on'. They are all members of our Village Gala committee.

It was apparently a very expensive tree too, shame the local garden centre didn't feel fit to donate one!

Tonight the lights will officially be turned on by the Parish Council and people will be welcomed into church for refreshments to celebrate. Chris will be there as official switcher on of the electricity ( another man!) but the forecast isn't too good for 6.00pm so I remain undecided. (I have blipped this event before here)
