Doves in the Desert

Six of the nearly 40 doves perched in the desert tree (cactus? succulent?), which for the life of me I have not been able to identify.

The sky is a lie, I admit it. Go to Phoenix expecting a little sunshine, but no, it is rainy and overcast the whole time. Sigh...
