Roadside Colours

Summer in New Zealand?????

An afternoon trip up to the McKenzie Country and around Lake Tekapo and Lake Alexandrina to see and photograph the roadside lupins. They are an absolute picture in places. This is taken on our way home around 8.30 pm, the sun was very low, a southerly change hit and gave some amazing saturated colours, the rainbow a bonus....the rain on the lens a pain in the proverbial.

Didn't get home until after 10 tonight, so another very late blip.
