What a day

First talk to the crew at the diamond light source in Harwell, was doing a back to back with the Bodkin and as we started a bit late meant we both had to rush - interesting discussions ensued afterwards, I had to try and keep my cool with one of the scientists who really got under my skin but I think we got there in the end -

afternoon spent in meetings discussing applications of synthetic diamonds - I was warned I needed to leave at 3.30 pm to beat the traffic, thought I was sitting pretty on the A34 sailing along nicely even having time to blip the huge moon rising in the Oxfordshire sky but then hit traffic and crawled all the way home to Coventry eventually arriving just past 6 pm should have been home at 4.30 pm

Unfortunately my mother was waiting to pick up the cat so it was all then a bit rushed as I needed to pack to get an early morning flight to New York City .... Not looking forward to the 4.30 am alarm call!
